Om Hair Cutting Salon

I run Om Hair Cutting Salon at Shop No.2 on Karve Nagar Road. We are right in the middle of the Karve Nagar-Hingne Budrukh area in Pune. It is a small place but it has been here for quite a while. I usually open the shop early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. The shop has two chairs and some big mirrors that have seen better days. Most of the men from the neighborhood come here for their regular haircuts or a shave. We talk about the local news or whatever is happening in Pune while I work. The street outside is always busy with students and people going to work. Sometimes the smell of the tea from the shop next door comes inside, which is nice. I don’t use any fancy products, just the usual stuff that people are used to. It’s a simple life, standing on my feet most of the day and keeping the shop clean. There is a small television in the corner that is usually on, but nobody really watches it much. The address is 411052, but most people just know us as the salon near the main road. It’s an honest way to make a living and I like being part of the local community here in Karve Nagar. We don't need much to keep going, just our regular customers and a bit of steady work.
