Om Advertising & Creative is based at number 23 on Sinhagad Road, inside the Ranjana Apartment. If you’ve ever lived on this side of Pune, you know that Sinhagad Road is famous for its traffic jams. We spend a lot of our time listening to the horns honking outside while we work on our designs. The office is basically a converted apartment, so it has a bit of a homey feel to it. There are computers everywhere and rolls of printed material leaning against the walls. We don't have a big creative director with a fancy title. We just sit together and try to come up with ideas that make sense for the people who ask us for help. It’s a bit messy, with coffee cups and sketchbooks scattered on every table. We don't do the whole corporate "creative agency" vibe. We’re just a bunch of people who like making signs and ads. Sometimes we get stuck on a project and we just walk down the street to grab some vada pav. Being in Ranjana Apartment means we have neighbors who are just living their normal lives, which keeps us grounded. We don’t have a big marketing budget for ourselves; we just rely on people seeing our work around the neighborhood. It’s a simple setup, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. We just keep doing our thing and hope the traffic isn't too bad.
