Octaware Technology Pune

We operate out of Sterling Apartments in the Camp area of Pune. We’re up on the third floor, in Flat 301. It’s a bit of an older part of town, which we actually like because the neighborhood has a lot of character and history. Octaware Technology is where we handle all the technical side of our business. It’s mostly just people sitting at their desks with computers, writing code or trying to fix bugs in a system. It’s not like those massive IT parks you see out in Hinjewadi with the glass buildings. Our office is a lot more modest and feels like a real home for the team. We have our desks, our servers humming in the corner, and a small kitchen area where we take our breaks and have lunch together. Camp is a great place to be located because there's always plenty of good food nearby when we get hungry. The work we do can be tough sometimes and the hours can get pretty long when we have a big deadline coming up. We don't have a big HR department writing fancy slogans or posters for the walls. We just focus on getting the software to work like it's supposed to. We’re a mix of younger techies and some older heads who have been in this industry for a long time. It’s a bit messy sometimes with wires running everywhere, but we know where everything is. We just try to do good work.
