Ocean Ship Maritime Services Pvt. Ltd. is based in Pune, which is funny because there is no ocean anywhere near here. We are located in Kothrud, specifically at Flat No. 5 in the E-2 Building of Shanti Heights. The place is actually C/O Madhusudhan V. Kulkarni. It is right near Eklavya College, so there are always a lot of students walking around the area. Kothrud has changed a lot over the years and it has become really crowded. Our office is just a regular apartment turned into a workspace. We deal with maritime stuff, even though we are surrounded by hills instead of water. It is a bit of a quiet building, which helps when we are trying to coordinate things over the phone or email. Shanti Heights is an older building but it is sturdy and easy for people to find once they get to the college landmark. There isn’t a fancy corporate vibe here at all. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We have desks set up where the living room furniture used to be. It works for us though. We don't need a massive office in a tech park to do our jobs. Pune 38 is a good area to be in even with the traffic. We just show up, do the maritime coordination, and keep things moving. It is a straightforward operation and we just handle things as they come without making a big deal of it.
