Nsandsons Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at Dadrababuri. We work out of Shri Yogendra Nath Tiwari’s place. The name sounds like a family business, and in a lot of ways, that’s exactly what it is. We are all connected through the land and the village. We aren't some big outfit from the city coming in to tell people how to farm. We’ve been here for a long time, and we know exactly how difficult the soil can be in this area. We started this company because we wanted to have a bit more control over our own lives. Most days involve a lot of walking out to the fields and then coming back to Yogendra’s house to write things down or talk to the other members. It’s a very local thing. We don't have a PR department or anyone to make us look good. If you see us, we probably look tired and have mud on our clothes, because that’s the reality of farming. We just want to make sure that the food we grow gets to the people who need it without us losing money in the process. It’s a struggle sometimes, especially when the weather doesn't cooperate, but we keep at it. We are just a group of people in Dadrababuri trying to make a go of it together. There is no magic to it, just persistence and a bit of luck with the rain.
