This office for the health mission is located in Chandannagar in Pune. We are specifically at the Sankar Pringle Warate Wosti. It is not in a big commercial building but is more of a local setup right in the middle of where people live. We do a lot of the ground-level work for the government here. Most of our day is spent dealing with health records or helping people understand the different programs available to them. The office itself is very basic. We have some sturdy desks, a few fans that rattle a bit when they are on high, and plenty of chairs for visitors. Because we are in Warate Wosti, it is easy for local residents to just walk in and talk to us. We don't have any formal reception area or anything like that. We just sit where we have space and get to work on the folders. The atmosphere is generally quite busy but relaxed in a way that only a local office can be. We know the shopkeepers nearby and often see the same people passing by our windows every day. The work isn't glamorous at all, but it helps the folks in the area. We just try to keep everything organized and make sure the health mission's tasks are being met in this part of town. It gets a little dusty when the wind picks up, but that is just how it is here. We are just a group of people doing our jobs.
