Novelty Cards & Arts has been in Nana Peth for a long time now. We are located in the Sunrise Building, room 480/2. If you are looking for the Mannushah Masjid, we are right by there. It's a busy part of town, always lots of noise and people moving about. We do cards and different art supplies, though the stock changes depending on what we can get in. The shop isn't very large, so things are stacked pretty high up to the ceiling. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for, but we usually get there. I’ve lived around Nana Peth my whole life, so setting up here made sense. It’s not a corporate office or anything like that. Just a counter, some shelves, and a lot of paper and ink. People come in for wedding cards or just something for a birthday. We don't do anything too fancy, just the basics that people need. The lighting in the back is a bit dim, but it works. I spend most of my day behind the desk. Sometimes the street gets blocked with traffic, which is typical for this area. But we keep the doors open anyway. It’s a simple business. We don't have a website or anything, just the physical shop where you can see what we have. It’s honest work and keeps us busy. My family helps out when the wedding season gets crazy and everyone wants their invitations at once.
