Not Employeed

We are over at Flat No 18 in the B Wing of Shubham Heights. It’s right there by the Mumbai-Bangalore Highway in Warje. The sound of the trucks and cars never really stops, but after a few weeks, you just stop hearing it. Being Not Employeed means we have a lot of time to focus on what’s right in front of us here in Pune. The pin code is 411052 if you’re looking it up. The building is tall, and we get a decent breeze when the windows are open. Sometimes the dust from the highway comes in too, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the surfaces. It’s just a regular flat, nothing fancy. We have a kitchen table where most of the thinking happens. The neighbors are mostly families, so there’s always the smell of someone cooking something good in the hallways. We don’t have a big team or a human resources department. It’s just us in the B Wing. Getting around is easy because the highway is right there, though traffic can be a nightmare during the evening rush. We keep things pretty informal. If someone needs something, they usually just call or drop a message. It’s a practical way to live. We’ve been here for a bit now and know the local grocers pretty well. It’s a good spot to be if you want to stay connected to the city but still have your own corner.
