Our office is based on Pune Satara Road in the Shastri Nagar area. If you’ve ever been on that road, you know how much dust and noise there is from all the construction happening nearby. We fit right in because that’s exactly what we do. Inside our office, there are rolls of blueprints everywhere and boots sitting by the door that are usually covered in mud. We aren't the type to wear suits and sit in air-conditioned boardrooms all day. Most of our time is spent out on the sites, checking on progress and making sure the materials arrived on time. When we are in the office, we’re usually arguing over a drawing or trying to figure out a better way to get a wall up. The furniture is old and the walls are covered in calendars and project schedules. We don’t have any fancy mission statements on the wall. We just build things. Some days are long and tiring, especially when the weather isn’t helping us out. But we like seeing a building actually come together from nothing. We’ve been working around Pune for a long time and people know us by our trucks and our hard hats. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know, and we do it without making any big promises we can't keep. It’s a tough business but we enjoy the physical work.
