Niwghekar Girganga Agro Producer Company Limited is located in the village of Niwgha, specifically at the home of Shri Udhav Gangaram. We are a small group of farmers who decided that working together as one unit was much better than struggling alone. Niwgha is a quiet place, and most of us have known each other since we were small children. We don't have a lot of extra money for fancy things, so we put our resources together to buy what we need for the fields. It is a very straightforward operation. We meet at Udhav’s house to talk about the upcoming harvest and how we are going to get it to the market without losing too much money. There is no big boss here; we all have a say in what is going on. We grow what the local climate allows and try to improve our yields by sharing what we know about the soil and the pests. Some of us are better at the paperwork and the math, and some are better with the machinery, so we try to balance it out. It is just honest, hard work. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just trying to make sure our families in Niwgha have a bit more security for the future. We deal with the rain, the heat, and the insects just like any other farmer. Having this company gives us a better chance when the market prices start to drop unexpectedly.
