Nishita Interiors

We are based at 1194 12 in Sant Tukaram Nagar, which is part of Shivaji Nagar. Nishita Interiors has been using this space as our home base for quite a while. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of people moving around. Our office is filled with samples of fabrics, wood, and tiles. It can get a bit overwhelming when everything is spread out on the table. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have shelves packed with binders and catalogs. It’s a practical space where we sit down and figure out how things should look. Sometimes the samples get mixed up and we have to spend an hour sorting them back out. The lighting in the back room isn't the best, so we do most of our looking near the front window. We aren't a big corporate firm with assistants for everything. We answer our own phones and do our own sketches. The floor is covered in scraps of paper and bits of material most of the time. It’s a bit messy, but that’s how we work. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of Shivaji Nagar. It’s a good place to be if you want to be in the middle of things. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the pile. There’s always something new to look at or a different color to consider.
