Nippo Batteries

You can find our warehouse setup in Hadapsar, Pune, specifically over at C O Sm Gudde Dhamalwadi. We handle the distribution for Nippo Batteries in this region. It’s a practical workspace rather than a shop. Most of what we do involves unloading trucks and then loading smaller vans to get the batteries out to the local retailers. There are piles of cardboard boxes everywhere, and the smell of new packaging is pretty strong. We spend a lot of our time checking inventory lists to make sure we haven't missed any orders. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when the big shipments arrive. The area in Hadapsar is quite industrial and busy, with a lot of traffic and noise from the nearby roads. We don't have an air-conditioned office; we just have a small corner with a couple of desks and a computer for the billing. Most people who stop by are the drivers we know well. We usually have a flask of tea going because the days can get long. We don't do any big advertising or anything. People know where we are when they need to restock their shelves. It's dusty work and we usually end the day with a bit of dirt on our clothes, but it's what we do. We just make sure the right boxes get to the right shops on time so people can find their batteries when they need them.
