Nilesh Bakale Interior

Nilesh Bakale Interior is based in Bengaluru, near the International Airport Road in the Venkatala area. Our specific spot is on BB Road at number 7. Because we are near the airport road, we see a lot of traffic and movement all day long. The office is where we keep all our samples of wood, laminates, and paint swatches. It is a bit of a squeeze with all the catalogs and hardware pieces lying around. I spend half my time here sketching out designs and the other half out at various sites across the city. My boots are usually a bit dusty from the construction locations. We have a small desk where we do the billing and talk to the carpenters. It is not a polished showroom with perfect lighting; it is a working office where we get our hands dirty. Sometimes we have clients come over to look at material samples, and we just clear off a space on the main table for them. The fan in the corner hums a bit too loudly, but we are used to it by now. Working in interiors means things are always changing, and this office in Venkatala is our home base for all those projects. We don't have a marketing department, just a few of us trying to make the spaces look better for the people who live in them.
