New Waves Beauty Parlour

If you're around Chinchwad 4, you've probably seen our sign for New Waves Beauty Parlour. It’s a small place, nothing too over the top. We’ve got a couple of chairs and some mirrors that have seen a lot of faces over the years. Usually, it’s just the sound of scissors and some chat about what’s happening in the neighborhood. We don't go for the high-end spa look because that's not who we are. It’s more about a place where you can come in, sit down, and get your hair done without any fuss. The floor gets covered in hair pretty quickly on a busy Saturday, but we sweep it up as we go. Sometimes the tea lady stops by, and we take a quick break. It's those little moments that make the day go by faster. We’ve had the same neighbors for a long time, so it feels like a little community here. The lighting isn't perfect, but it works for what we need. We use the same brands we’ve always used because they work. You don't need a lot of fancy equipment to do a good job, just a steady hand and some patience. We’re usually here from morning until the sun goes down. People drop in without appointments sometimes, and we try to fit them in if we can. It's just a regular local shop where everyone knows each other’s names. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who have been doing this for a long time.
