Nenus Gift House

Nenus Gift House is over in Nakate Vasti, right near the Sitara Hotel in Rahatne. If you know the Pimpri area, it’s not too hard to find us. We have been running the place out of this spot for a bit. The shop is filled with all sorts of things, from small plastic toys to bigger decorative items that people put on their shelves at home. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are inside at once. We usually have the door open to let some air in, especially when it gets humid in the afternoons. The floor is just plain tile and we try to keep it swept, but people bring in dust from the street all day long. We don't really do much advertising, people just see the sign when they are heading to the hotel or the other shops nearby. Sometimes we get kids coming in with their pocket money looking for something small. We help them count their change and find something that fits. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just waiting for the evening rush when people are heading home from work. We have some bags and wrapping paper behind the desk, though the scissors always seem to go missing when we need them. It is a basic neighborhood shop where we try to keep things organized but it often ends up a bit messy by closing time.
