You can find us at House No-467 in the N.P. Layout, right near the Mehar Baba Centre here in Deoli. This is Wardha, and our group, Navsankalpana Mahila Farmer Producer Company Limited, is really just a bunch of local women trying to do something for ourselves and our families. We use this space to organize what we are growing and how we are going to sell it. It’s not a big corporate office or anything like that. It feels more like a home because it is one. We sit together, drink tea, and figure out the logistics of the farm work. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when everyone shows up at once, but we manage. Being in a small town like Deoli means everyone knows everyone anyway. We focus on the things we can grow locally and try to make sure we are doing things the right way. There are plenty of challenges, like the heat or finding enough transport for the goods, but we stick together. It’s a lot of talking, a bit of arguing sometimes, and a whole lot of work in the dirt. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just making sure our kids have what they need and that our farms stay productive. It’s honest work and we take it as it comes. Some days the paperwork is a headache, but seeing the produce ready for market makes it all worth it.
