Navrang Beauty Parlour

Navrang Beauty Parlour is tucked away in Somwar Peth. We are on the first floor of the Sundarnagri Building, in the A Wing, shop 308. It’s a quiet area, especially being so close to the Jain Temple. I’ve been running this parlour for a long time. It’s not one of those expensive chains you see in the malls. This is a local place for local women. We have a few chairs, some mirrors, and the basic equipment needed for threading, hair cuts, and facials. The building is an older style, typical of Somwar Peth, but it has a nice feel to it. Most of our clients are neighbors who have been coming to us for years. They come in to get ready for weddings or just for their regular grooming. We talk about the neighborhood and what’s happening in the city while I work. It’s a very personal way of doing business. I don’t use any fancy marketing tricks. People come here because they know me and they know they’ll get straightforward service without any drama. Sometimes the stairs up to the first floor are a bit of a climb, but everyone manages. The parlour is always kept clean, though it’s not modern or flashy. It’s just a comfortable space where you can sit back for an hour. Somwar Peth is a great place to be, and being near the temple makes the whole area feel very peaceful every day.
