National Embroidery

National Embroidery is a small operation located at Nana Peth 268. If you know this part of the city, you know it is famous for its narrow streets and all the different shops packed together. We are right in the thick of it. Our space is filled with the sound of machines and the smell of thread. It is not a quiet place, but it is a productive one. We have piles of fabric in different corners and spools of color everywhere you look. Sometimes the floors get covered in little snips of thread, no matter how much we sweep. It is a local business, so we know a lot of the people who walk past our door every day. We don't have any big corporate signs or fancy windows. We just have our name on the front and our work inside. Nana Peth has a lot of energy, and we have been part of that energy for a while now. The building at 268 is older, but it serves us well for what we do. We spend hours looking at patterns and making sure the needles are running right. It is honest work that takes a bit of patience. We just stay focused on the fabric and the designs, making sure everything is done the way it should be before the day ends. It gets a bit dusty in the afternoons, but we like the work.
