Narayan Datta Painting

Our place is in Nigidi Phase I, inside the G I D C area at Agarwal Chambers, room 306. It’s a typical industrial estate building. We do painting work under the name Narayan Datta Painting. Most of the time, the office is just a place to store our extra paint buckets and brushes when we aren't at a job site. It’s not a fancy showroom. We have some color charts on the walls and a desk that’s seen better days. GIDC is a busy place with a lot of trucks moving around, so it’s always a bit noisy. We’ve been doing this for quite a while now. We don't use big words or try to act like we’re more than what we are. We’re just painters. We go to a house or a shop, we paint the walls, and we make sure the mess is cleaned up before we leave. Sometimes we have to work weekends if a client is in a rush, but we try to keep a normal schedule. Most people in Nigidi know us by word of mouth. We don’t really bother with websites or ads much. If the work is good, people tell their friends, and that’s how we keep going. It’s a simple business model that works for us. The white overalls we wear usually have a few stains on them, but that's part of the job. We just show up and paint until the wall looks right. It’s what we do every single day.
