Our group is based over in Antapur, specifically at the Malgav Shivar area. Shilabai Nanaji Jadhav helps keep things organized here. We are basically a group of farmers from around the Nanaj area who decided to work together instead of everyone just doing their own thing. It’s much easier to handle the crops and the selling when you have a few more hands involved. We spend most of our time out in the fields, so the registered address is more of a place for us to meet and keep our records. It’s a very local operation. Most of us have lived here our whole lives and we know every inch of the land. We talk about the weather, the soil, and what the markets are doing. It isn't a fancy setup. We sit around, drink some tea, and figure out the plan for the next month. Sometimes the crops are good, sometimes they aren't, but being in this company together makes the bad years a bit easier to handle. We don't have any big speeches or goals other than keeping our farms going and making sure our families are okay. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. The Malgav Shivar area has been our home for a long time, and this company is just a new way for us to keep our traditions alive.
