Munshis Pedicure & Manicure Centre

You can find Munshis Pedicure & Manicure Centre down in the basement of the Wonderland building. This is on MG Road in the Camp area, right near the old West End Theater. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler than the street level, which is nice in the summer. We have been in this spot for quite a long time. The space is dedicated to hands and feet, so we have specific chairs and basins set up for that. It isn't a huge place, but we make use of every corner. The lighting is a bit dim because we are underground, but we have lamps at each station. We see a lot of people who work in the offices around MG Road. They come in during their lunch breaks or after they finish work for the day. Sometimes shoppers from Wonderland drop in when their feet are tired. We don't do hair or facials, just the nails and skin on the hands and feet. It’s a bit of a niche, but it keeps us busy enough. The sounds of the fans and the water running are the main things you hear. We use standard soaps and creams that get the job done. It is a practical shop for people who need a quick bit of grooming. We don't make a big fuss about things. We just do the work and let people get on with their day.
