We are set up over at the Mundhwa Industrial Estate in Pune, specifically from 72 to 76. Potain India Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this corner of Maharashtra for a while now. It’s a big space because the stuff we deal with isn't exactly small. You can hear the sounds of the industrial area all day long, which is just part of the job. We have a lot of people coming in and out, mostly truck drivers and workers. The office part of it is tucked away, but most of the action happens out where the equipment is. Big corporate speeches don't happen here. We just focus on the heavy lifting and making sure everything is bolted down right. It can be quite a dusty place, especially when the wind picks up around Pune. We spend a lot of time checking and re-checking things. It isn't glamorous work, but it's what we know. Most of us have been working together for years, so we don't need to say much to get things done. We just show up in our work clothes and get through the list. It’s a solid way to make a living. Being right here in Mundhwa where all the industry happens feels right. It feels like we are part of something real. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep everything moving as it should without making a fuss.
