If you head over to Bibwewadi, we are located at 26/2B in the Shrimali Society. This isn't a shop for small things; we deal with parts and repairs for earth-moving machinery. If you come by, you’ll see heavy iron parts and hydraulic hoses scattered around the workshop. There’s usually a thick smell of engine oil and old grease in the air. We spend our days getting our hands dirty fixing parts for excavators and backhoes. It’s heavy work and requires a lot of strength to move some of these pieces around. I usually wear an old pair of overalls that are covered in oil stains. Most of our customers are contractors who are working on building sites and need their machines running again as fast as possible. The phone is always ringing with someone describing a breakdown or asking for a specific spare part. We have a small desk for the paperwork, but I prefer being out where the machines are. The workshop floor is concrete and it has its share of cracks and oil spots from years of heavy use. Bibwewadi is a busy area, but our spot in Shrimali Society is easy enough to get to once you know where it is. We don’t bother with anything that isn't related to the work. It’s just about getting the repairs done and the parts delivered. That’s how we’ve always done things here in this yard.
