Multipillars Farmers Producer Company Limited is located over at 252 Jivhale Shivar Dixi. We are right in the heart of Niphad, which is a busy place for anyone who knows Nashik. Farming is what everyone does around here and we are no different. We have our small plots of land and we spend most of our hours under the sun. The soil in this part of Maharashtra is good, but it still takes a lot of sweat to get anything to grow. We started this group because we were tired of doing everything separately and getting nowhere. Now we use the space in Dixi to coordinate our efforts. It is a practical arrangement for us. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising. Most people know where we are anyway. Life in the 422302 area revolves around the seasons and the water supply. We talk about the rain a lot, mostly because we need it. Our days start very early before the sun is even up properly. By the time most people are having breakfast, we have already been out in the fields for hours. It is just us trying to make a decent living from what we know best. There are plenty of challenges like pests and market drops, but we just keep going. It is not a glamorous life but it is ours and we are used to the hard work involved.
