You can find us at 413/30 Ashray Apts in Mukund Nagar, Pune. M/S Deshpande Degaonkar Architects is just a group of us who enjoy the process of building things. Our office is inside an apartment building, so it feels very much like a part of the neighborhood. We’ve been working here for quite some time now. Mukund Nagar is a nice area, usually pretty calm, which helps when we need to focus on some complicated structural details. We spend a lot of our mornings answering emails and the afternoons are usually for site visits or meetings. Sometimes the meetings run long because there are so many details to cover. We don’t really go for fancy marketing or anything like that. Most people find out about us because they saw a building we worked on or a friend told them. Our desks are usually covered in files and site photos. We use a lot of different tools, but at the end of the day, it's about making sure a building stands up and looks decent. There are always some hiccups with contractors or material costs, but that is just the nature of the business. We try to stay organized, though it gets a bit messy when we have multiple projects going at once. It’s just us doing our best to help clients get their spaces sorted out. We keep it simple and keep it moving.
