Mrudul Mankame

Our place is over in Kothrud, specifically in the Muktai Apartment building. We are in the B Wing, on the first floor, Flat 104. It’s a bit of a trek if you are coming from the other side of town. The office is also near the 4th floor at Magarpatta Chowk, right across from Ashish Garden. It gets a bit confusing with the different locations, but we mostly operate out of the Kothrud spot. The building is off Paud Road. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s relatively quiet compared to the main market. We have our files and our computers set up. It’s a simple space. We don’t have fancy furniture or anything. We just focus on the work. People come by when they need to drop off documents or sign something. We usually have the windows open to let some air in. Kothrud has changed a lot, but this pocket feels familiar. We know the shopkeepers nearby. The morning starts with clearing the desk and checking the messages. It’s just us here, keeping things running. We don’t put on a show. It’s a small operation. We handle the tasks as they come. Sometimes it’s busy, sometimes it’s slow. That’s just how it goes for a small office in an apartment building. The view from the window is just the street and some other buildings. We have a few chairs for when people need to wait. It’s a bit of a walk if you aren't using the lift. We’ve been here some time now.
