Moving Farm Producer Company Limited is based out of B 603 S No. 20/3/78 La Velle Casa at Chandani Chowk. It’s right there in Bavdhan on the NDA Road in Pune. We aren't in a big field out here, we’re actually in an apartment block which sounds a bit funny for a farm company, but that’s where we do the paperwork and the planning. It gets quite noisy with the traffic from the chowk sometimes. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting people to figure out where the produce needs to go. It’s a lot of running around, hence the name Moving Farm, I guess. We started this because we wanted to bridge the gap between our friends back in the villages and the people here in the city. It isn't always smooth. Sometimes the internet goes out or the elevator is broken and we have to carry boxes up. We just try to keep things moving forward every day. The office is small but it works for us. We drink a lot of tea and look at spreadsheets or talk to drivers. Pune is growing so fast and we’re just trying to keep up with it while staying connected to our roots. It’s hard work and the hours are long, but we’re used to it. We don’t have any fancy mission statements, we just want to get the job done right.
