If you are looking for us, we are located at Matoshree FarmHouse on Digras Road. It’s the home of Jaya Chetan Karoddeo in Lakh Khind. This is in the Darwha Taluka of Yavatmal. Motibagh Farmer Producer Company Limited isn't some big office in a skyscraper; it’s a working farmhouse. We have the smell of the earth all around us and the sound of tractors passing by. Yavatmal is known for its farming, and we are right in the thick of it. Our group of farmers meets here to discuss everything from fertilizer to who has a truck available for transport. We keep things very informal. You might find us sitting on the porch or in the main room of the farmhouse going over the ledgers. We don't have fancy office furniture or air conditioning. We just have a commitment to the land and each other. The road to Digras is busy during the day, but it gets quiet at night. We’ve been working this land for a long time, and forming this company was just a way to make things more official. We help each other out when the harvest is heavy or when the equipment breaks down. It is a very practical, hands-on way of life. There’s no mission statement on the wall, just a calendar and some notes about the weather. We are just local people doing what we know best and trying to get by.
