Morden Hair Dresser

Morden Hair Dresser is situated at Shop No.3 in the Sukakarta Apartment building. We are right near the Bhairavnath Mandir in Erandwane, which is a very well-known spot in this part of Pune. Being opposite Mantri Hospital means we see a lot of people passing by all the time. Sometimes it’s the hospital staff or relatives of patients who come in for a quick haircut to freshen up. The shop has been around for a long time and the name Morden is just what it was called when it started. Inside, it’s a typical barber shop with the old-style chairs and the sound of the ceiling fan spinning overhead. I spend most of my day here, from morning until we close at night. The view out the window is mostly the hospital entrance and the people walking towards the mandir. Erandwane is a busy place, but our little corner feels familiar and steady. We don't have any modern gadgets or expensive equipment; we just use our hands and the tools we’ve always used. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the road, but we keep the mirrors wiped clean. I like the routine of it all, seeing the same faces every month and hearing the same stories. It’s a simple business at a good location, and that’s enough for us to keep going every day.
