Mona Advertising

Our place, Mona Advertising, is right on Bajirao Road in Shukrawar Peth. If you know where Hotel Ganraj is, we are basically right next to it. It is a very crowded area and parking is always a headache, but we like being in the middle of everything. The shop is small and usually covered in paper and old samples. We spend a lot of time on the computer or talking on the phone with printers and clients. It’s not a quiet job. There is always someone coming in to ask about a banner or a small print job. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot of work to finish. My brother and I run things mostly. We learned everything just by doing it over the years. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything. People usually just see our sign or hear about us from someone else in the neighborhood. The office gets a bit messy during the busy season, but we know where everything is. We drink a lot of chai from the shop across the street. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when the weather is nice. We've seen the road change a lot over the years, with new shops coming and old ones closing. But we stay right here. It’s a simple life, just making things for people and trying to keep the machines running without too much trouble.
