Modern Architects

Modern Architects is tucked away on the fourth floor of the Shriram building, which is part of the 557 apartments in Narayan Peth. We are right opposite the Narayan Peth Police Chowky, so it is a very easy landmark for anyone trying to visit us. The office isn't huge, but being on the fourth floor gives us a bit of a break from the noise on the street. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. Our team focuses on the practical side of architecture—making sure things are built right and according to the rules. We don't spend much time on fancy marketing; we mostly just work on the projects that come our way through local contacts. Narayan Peth has a lot of history, and we often deal with older buildings that need a bit of work or new structures that have to fit into tight spaces. It’s a lot of technical work, checking measurements and making sure the plans are solid. We have a couple of desks, some old computers, and plenty of coffee to keep us going through the afternoon. It is an honest living, and we enjoy seeing a project move from a paper sketch to a real building you can walk into. If you come by, the elevator is usually working, but the stairs are there just in case. It's just a regular office where we do our best for every project.
