Meera Rolling Shutters Fabrication

Our workshop is over in the Parvati area at number 290. It is a loud place because we are always cutting metal and welding frames for rolling shutters. I have been doing this fabrication work for a long time and the shop has seen better days, but the machines still work just fine. We have scraps of iron and steel lying around the floor, and the walls are a bit dark from all the smoke and heat. It is a gritty job and we are usually covered in grease by the end of the day. We make shutters for shops and warehouses all over the city. People come to us because they know we have been here for years and we know how to make something that lasts. We don't have an office with air conditioning, just a small wooden desk where I keep the ledger and my tools. Usually, there are three or four of us working at the same time. When the weather is hot, it gets very uncomfortable inside, so we take breaks outside near the entrance. We also go out to install the shutters ourselves, so the shop is sometimes closed during the day while we are at a site. We don't do any big advertising or have a fancy sign. Most of our work comes from people who just know where to find us. It is hard, manual work but it is what we know how to do.
