Mayboli Beauty Parlor

I run Mayboli Beauty Parlor from a small space in Chilekar Nagar, over in the Wakad area of Pune. It’s mostly just me here doing everything from threading eyebrows to helping brides get ready. My day starts early with cleaning up the shop and checking my appointments for the afternoon. Wakad has grown so much lately, and there are many more people living here now than when I first started. The address is 411001, but the traffic makes it feel further away from the center sometimes. I don't have a big team or expensive equipment. I use what I've learned over the years to help women feel a bit better about how they look. Often, my customers just want to chat while I do their hair or a facial. It’s like a little community hub for the ladies nearby. I keep a diary to track who is coming in when, and sometimes I forget to write things down, so I have to remember from memory. The shop is decorated with a few simple mirrors and some pictures on the wall. It’s not a corporate chain, it's just my own small business. Some days are very quiet and I just sit and read, and other days I don't even have time to eat my lunch. That's just how it goes when you run a parlor in a place like Chilekar Nagar and you do it all yourself without any help.
