Maya Engineering

Maya Engineering is down by the Kondhwa Katraj Bypass Saswad. We’ve been here for a while now. Most days it’s just us working on whatever comes through the door. It gets pretty dusty out here with all the traffic passing by on the bypass, but we don't mind it much. We deal with various metal parts and mechanical jobs that people bring in. Sometimes it's a small fix for a neighbor and other times it's a bigger project that keeps us busy for a week. We usually start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. There's a lot of noise from the machines, but that's just how it is in an engineering shop. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just the workshop and our tools. If you're looking for us, we are right there on the main road towards Saswad. It's easy to find if you keep an eye out. Most of the guys here have been doing this work for years. We learned by doing, not from books. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil. We try to keep things organized, but when we're busy, it gets a bit messy. It's honest work and we take it one day at a time. We don't do much advertising; people just know we're here. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure the parts fit right before they leave the shop.
