We work out of Khudasargaon in the Rahuri area. The address is 304/2, which is where we store most of the seeds we handle. It’s a quiet spot, and we mostly deal with local farmers who need good planting material for the season. We’ve been doing this for a bit now, and we’ve learned a lot about which seeds do well in this specific soil. It’s not a very complicated business, but you have to pay attention to the details or things go wrong. Most of our days are spent bagging seeds or checking the inventory. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably just find one of us in the warehouse covered in dust. Rahuri is a good place for this kind of work because everyone around here is involved in agriculture somehow. We don't spend money on fancy brochures because our work speaks for itself when the crops come up. Sometimes we have to deal with pests or bad weather that ruins a batch, but we just start over and try again. It’s just us and the seeds, really. We keep the books simple and try to stay out of trouble. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy throughout the year. We are just regular people who know a bit about seeds and like living in Khudasargaon.
