Matro Hair Cutting Salon

Matro Hair Cutting Salon is right across from the railway station in Pune. We are at Shop No 01, Alankar Chowk, which is a very busy area because of the Pune Station. Being so close to the station means there is always a lot of noise and people rushing around outside. It’s 411001, right in the heart of the city. We get a lot of travelers who have just stepped off a train and want to look a bit more presentable before they head to their next meeting. We also have our regulars who work in the nearby offices or the other shops around Alankar Chowk. The shop isn't big, but it’s in a prime spot. We have a few chairs and they are usually occupied for most of the day. Because it’s so busy, we don't have much time for sitting around. The tea stall nearby brings us chai when we have a spare minute. It’s a bit of a hectic location, but we like the pace of it. We’ve been here long enough to see the trains come and go thousands of times. Our shop is just a simple, functional space. We don’t have any fancy decorations or soft music playing. Just the sound of the city and our tools. If you’re ever stuck at the station with some time to kill, you’ll find us right there at the chowk doing our thing.
