Our office is tucked away in the 6th Block of Camp, right behind the Godrej showroom on Dr Rajkumar Road. It can be a little tricky to find the first time because of how the buildings are laid out back there. We’ve been here for a while now, focusing on recruitment work. The office is basically just a few of us sitting at our computers and talking on our phones all day. It gets quite busy during the hiring seasons and the sound of typing fills the room. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist at the front. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. We spend a lot of time reading through resumes and trying to figure out who might be a good fit for a certain role. It’s a lot of back and forth with different people. Dr Rajkumar Road is always full of traffic, so we hear the honking from outside quite often. We have piles of files and folders everywhere, which we really should organize better one of these days. It’s a simple operation and we don’t pretend to be some giant corporation. We are just a local team at Matrix Recuritment Consulting trying to help people find work and help companies find staff. Sometimes it’s stressful, but mostly it’s just steady work. We take our lunch breaks together and keep things pretty informal around the office. It’s a good group of people and we try to keep things grounded.
