Matrix Hr

Matrix Hr is run out of A1 Sarthak Apartments in Vadgaonsheri. It is a residential area, so it is a bit quieter than being right in the center of Pune. We like it that way. Most of our work involves looking through stacks of applications and trying to figure out which person would be right for which job. It is a lot of reading and a lot of interviews. Sometimes we meet people who are very excited and others who are just tired of looking. We try to keep the atmosphere in the office relaxed. Since we are in an apartment building, it feels more like a home than a cold office. We have got Sainikwadi right nearby, and most of us live close enough to walk or take a quick rickshaw ride. We do not use a lot of fancy software to filter people out. We prefer to actually look at the resumes and talk to the candidates. It takes longer, sure, but it feels more human. Hiring is a weird business because you are dealing with people’s lives and their money. We do not take that lightly. Some days are just filled with sorting through emails and making sure we did not miss a good candidate. It is steady work and it keeps us connected to the local workforce in Pune. We have been at this for a while now and we have seen the job market go up and down. We just keep doing our bit from our little corner in Sarthak Apartments.
