Martand Agro is based over in Saswad, right near Kodit Naka. We have got a small place in Arti Heights, specifically Flat Number 8 in Wing C. It is a bit different running an agro business from an apartment building, but it works for us. It gives us a quiet place to handle the administrative side of things away from the noise of the main road. Saswad is a growing town, and being in the Purandar taluka means we are surrounded by a lot of farming activity. We spend our time bridging the gap between the fields and the buyers. It involves a lot of phone calls and a lot of driving around the local area. The office is where we keep the records and meet up to discuss our next steps. It is a simple setup with just the basics like a few chairs and a desk. We don’t go in for big marketing talk. We are just people from the area trying to make a go of it in the agricultural sector. Usually, the weather is the main topic of conversation around here. We watch the skies and hope for the best for our suppliers. If you are in Saswad and pass by Kodit Naka, you are not far from where we sit and work. It is a humble operation, but it keeps us busy from morning till night.
