Our place is Manikchand House on D. Kenedy Road, right behind where the Hotel Le Meridien is. It’s a pretty well-known spot in this part of the city. Manikchand Nandadeep Paper Products Pvt. Ltd. has been working with paper products for quite a while now. The building is 100-101, so it’s easy enough to find if you’re looking for it. We handle a lot of manufacturing and distribution of paper items, which means there are always boxes being moved around. It’s not a quiet office environment; it’s more of a place where things are actually being made and shipped out. We have a lot of people who have been with the company since the start. We don’t really go in for those corporate retreats or complicated management structures. If something needs doing, the manager usually just walks over and says so. We try to keep the machines running smoothly, though they have their moods just like people do. The location is good because it’s central, though it gets a bit crowded around here during peak hours. We aren't trying to be some massive global conglomerate. We just want to make sure the paper we produce is good quality and that the orders go out on time. It’s basic, honest manufacturing work. Most of our days are spent checking inventory and making sure the warehouse is organized, which is often harder than it sounds.
