Manavharsh Agrotech Farmer Producer Company Limited is run from Palsap in the Osmanabad district. We are based at the home of Mahadev Narawade's family. It’s a quiet village and our office is just a part of the house really. We started this because we saw that working alone wasn't getting us very far. Now we have a group of farmers who all put their heads together. In Palsap, everyone knows everyone else’s business, so it was natural to start something like this. The 413509 area is where we spend our lives. We talk about the soil, the seeds, and the rain more than anything else. It isn't a fancy business with suits and ties. Most of the time we are in our work clothes, covered in dust from the fields. We handle the paperwork for the group and try to find better ways to get our goods to the people who need them. It can be frustrating when the paperwork gets stuck or the weather turns bad, but we just deal with it. We’ve had some good years and some bad ones. Every day is a bit different depending on what needs to be harvested or planted. We just want to keep the farms going for the next generation. It’s a simple life and we are just trying to make it work together. There isn't much glory in it, but it is honest work that needs doing.
