Management Consultant

I work as a Management Consultant here in Pune, and my workday is usually spent trying to figure out how to make things run a bit smoother for different businesses. I don't have a giant office in a glass tower; it's mostly just me and a few others working through problems. Pune is a busy city, and there’s always someone who needs help with their operations or their staff. I spend a lot of time traveling to different sites, sitting in meetings, and looking at spreadsheets until my eyes get tired. It isn't always exciting work. Sometimes it's just about fixing small things that have gone wrong over time. The traffic in the city is a big part of my life, as I’m often stuck on the road moving between clients. My desk is usually a mess of notebooks and half-empty water bottles. I don’t go in for all those big, fancy business theories; I just look at what’s happening on the floor and try to suggest practical changes. Some days are spent just listening to people vent about their work problems. It’s a lot of talking and trying to understand how different shops and offices function. I’ve been doing this in Pune for a while, and it’s just a regular job that keeps me busy from morning till night.
