Malshe Clinic

Our clinic is located right in the Patankar Complex. It's a well-known spot in Warje, especially since it's so close to the Mumbai Bangalore Highway. You can see the highway traffic from some of the windows. Malwadi-warje is a busy part of Pune, and there’s always something happening outside. Being in the complex means we have other shops and offices as neighbors. We share the same hallways and staircases with them. The clinic itself is a simple room with some chairs and a desk. We keep our records in some metal filing cabinets in the corner. The sound of the vehicles on the highway is a constant hum in the background. It becomes like white noise after you've worked here for a few months. The morning starts with us opening the shutters and letting some air in. People often stop by because they are passing through the complex for other errands. It’s a convenient location for that reason. The tiles on the floor are a bit worn down in the spots where people walk the most. We have a small sink in the back and a place to hang our coats. It’s not a polished corporate office. It feels like a real part of the Warje neighborhood. We know the tea seller nearby and the other folks working in the complex. It’s a decent place to spend the day, doing the usual work without any big distractions.
