Max Proto Engineering

Our workshop is situated in Mahalunge Village, out in the Pune area of Maharashtra. The name of the business is Max Proto Engineering. We are a bit far out from the main city center, but being in Mahalunge gives us the space we need for our machines. It’s a rural-industrial kind of setting where people know each other. We spend our time working on prototypes and engineering parts. The shed is large and has a high ceiling to keep it from getting too stuffy while we work. We have some lathes and milling machines that we use every day. It’s a greasy job sometimes, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the shop floor with a tool in hand. We like the work because it’s about making things that actually function. Dealing with Pune traffic to get supplies can be a headache, but we’ve learned to plan around it. We are just a local group of guys who understand how metal and machines work. There aren't many meetings here, just a lot of measuring and cutting. We take things one job at a time and try not to get too stressed when a machine breaks down. It’s a simple life in the village, doing the engineering work we know.
