Mahafedagro Farmer Producer Companylimited is located in Pune, over in the Dhankawad area. Our address is at house number 1360/3. Even though we are in a bigger city like Pune, our roots are still firmly in the soil. We work with farmers to try and bridge the gap between the rural fields and the urban markets. It’s not always easy because the two worlds are so different. We spend a lot of time traveling back and forth. The office in Dhankawad is where we handle the logistics and the paperwork that comes with running a producer company. We aren't some polished corporate group. Most of us grew up on farms and we still have dirt under our fingernails. We started this because we saw how much value was being lost between the farm gate and the customer’s table. We try to keep things simple and direct. There’s a lot of talk about modern farming, but at the end of the day, it’s still about seeds, water, and hard work. We have small meetings to figure out the best way to move our produce without it spoiling. It’s a constant juggle. We don't have all the answers, but we are working on it. It’s just a group of us trying to make the farming business a little more sensible for the people actually doing the growing every single season.
