If you ever find yourself near the Ganpati Mandir in Tulapur, you’re pretty close to where we work. We’re located at Milkat No 341 in that area, which is part of the Haveli taluka in Pune. Tulapur is a place with a lot of history, but for us at Mahadanplus Fertilizer Private Limited, it’s mostly where we handle the supplies that keep the local farms going. Fertilizer isn't the cleanest business to be in. The bags are heavy, the smell is strong, and there’s always a fine powder on the floor of the warehouse. We spend our days moving stock and talking to farmers who come in from all over the Pune district. They’re usually looking for advice or just trying to get what they need for the season’s planting. We don’t have any fancy corporate slogans. We’re just local people who know what the soil around Haveli needs. The Ganpati temple is a good landmark because everyone knows it, and it makes our place easy to find. It’s a busy environment, especially when the planting season starts and everyone is in a hurry. We try to keep things organized, but it can get chaotic when several trucks show up at once. It’s just honest, hard work, making sure the right stuff gets to the right fields so the crops have a chance to grow. We just take it one day at a time and try not to let the stress get to us.
