We are located in Mundhwa, specifically at Keshav Nagar in Pune. Our address is a bit of a mouthful with all the survey and house numbers, but it’s just a spot in a busy part of the district. Being near Pune means we have a bit more traffic and noise than the rural farms, but we still do the same basic work of handling farm foods and supplies. The space is used for organizing the products that come in from the outlying areas before they head into the city markets. It’s a bit cramped sometimes because the city is growing so fast around us. We have to be careful with the timing of the deliveries because of the local road congestion. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and stacks of bags. We spend our time checking the quality and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the day. It’s a busy environment with people coming and going all the time. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. The staff is small, just a few people who handle the lifting and the logistics. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can without making mistakes. It’s a different kind of pace than the village life, but the connection to the farm is still the main thing for us. We just work hard and stay focused on the food business.
