Maersk Line

Maersk Line is located at Raviraj Heritage, in room C-618. This is on Bhau Patil Road in Bopodi, Pune. If you know Pune, you know Bopodi is a bit away from the main fancy areas, but it’s a good spot. Our postcode is 411020. The building is one of those modern ones but it feels lived in. We are on the sixth floor, so we get a bit of a breeze if the windows are open. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of desks and some whiteboards that are always covered in scribbles and dates. We deal with a lot of coordination, so there is always someone on the phone or typing away. It’s not a silent office by any means. We have a lot of charts and maps, but they aren't for decoration, they are just for us to keep track of things. The staff here is a mix of people who have been around for years and some younger folks. We all grab lunch around the same time, often sharing whatever someone brought from home. It’s a relaxed atmosphere in some ways, even when the work gets a bit hectic. We don’t have any of those corporate slogans on the walls. It’s just us, the computers, and a lot of work to get through before the day ends in Maharashtra. The view from the window shows a bit of the hills if it is a clear day.
