This office for Maersk Global Service India Pvt Ltd is a bit different from your usual setup. We are located c/o Mrs Kamal Pagare in Chawan Colony. It’s right by the Bhmain bus stop on Alandi Road in Vishranthwadi. Being in Pune, specifically in this part of town, means we see a lot of local life and traffic. It’s a very grounded kind of place to work. We aren't in some big skyscraper with elevators. We’re tucked away in the colony, which makes the whole workday feel a bit more personal and quiet. We have our desks set up and we just handle the service work from here. The 411015 area is where we spend our time. Alandi Road is always busy outside, so there’s always something to see. Mrs Pagare’s place is easy enough to find if you know where the bus stop is. We just focus on the daily grind and getting through our list of things to do. There isn't any corporate polish or fancy furniture here. We just use what we have to get the job done for Maersk. It’s a simple and honest environment. Sometimes we sit and have tea during our breaks and just chat about things. It doesn't feel like a big international company when you’re actually sitting here. It just feels like a normal Pune workplace where we do our bit every day.
