Madhav Department Store

Madhav Department Store is located at 740 Budhwar Peth. We are right by Phadke Houd. This part of the city is always teeming with people and traffic. We’ve been running this store for many years now. It’s a traditional local shop. We sell a bit of everything that people might need for their daily lives, like snacks and household goods. The store is packed from floor to ceiling with items. It’s not like those big modern supermarkets where everything has a lot of empty space. Here, you have to look around or just ask us where something is. We know where everything is kept, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else. My family has been in this spot for a long time. We know most of the people who live in Budhwar Peth. They stop by to pick up groceries or household things on their way home from work. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us working behind the counter every day. We don't do any marketing or use fancy slogans. We just try to provide what the neighbors need at a price that makes sense for them. Sometimes it gets very crowded inside the store, especially in the evenings when everyone is out. We just deal with it and try to help everyone as fast as we can. It’s a busy life but we wouldn't have it any other way.
